YDE will participate in the March for Europe in Rome as partner of this event.

The 25th of March 2017 marks the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community. While in the last six decades European integration has made incredible steps forward, today the European Union remains an incomplete construction at risk of unraveling under the pressure of multiple crisis and the rise of populism and nationalism in many countries. On that date, European Heads of State and Government will gather in the Italian capital for an extraordinary European Council. On the occasion, the Union of European Federalists, the Young European Federalists, The Spinelli Group and Stand Up for Europe call upon European citizens to gather in Rome in a “March for Europe” to show their support for the European project and to urge for a relaunch of European political unity
